Pokerstars is in the elite few poker rooms online I feel, and their image has been further boosted recently by the fact that the newly crowned WSOP main event champion Peter Eastgate is now sponsored by them. He becomes the newest member of a team of pros at Pokerstars to rival that of any other online.
pockerstars has long been well known for offering a good array of tournaments, with excellent gauranteed prize pools, freerolls, and satellites to many of the major tournaments across the world.
Reload bonuses become intermittently available on pockerstars.net, with announcements being made as to when such bonuses are in operation. As far as first time deposit bonuses go, Pocker stars offer 100% which needs to be earned through accumulation of player points, and this is up to an amount of $50. I would like to see the upper limit of this going a little higher than $50, but 100% is in itself, a very respectable offer. In terms of visuals, the play at the tables is enjoyable enough, and the lobby has recently improved and looks very sleek and professional.
Help and support is very good onsite, and is available 24/7, although only in email format. Live help would be a nice addition to the site I feel. ‘Battle of the Planets’ is a SnG promotion which is very enjoyable to participate in, and which runs constantly at the moment. Huge tournaments and V.I.P programmes are additions to the list of plus points at Pokerstars, and overall, the site is one the best around.
