Poker.com was not a site which I was previously aware of before today, but upon veiwing the page I have to say I was delighted to find a vast expanse of information related to poker on an extremely diverse level. Topics included were the history of the game of poker, which was a rather enlightening and interesting read about earliest recordings of similar games in china and Europe, the eventual spread to the mississippi area in america and its growth from there on.

If as a poker player you have a personal favourite pro poker player, you will almost certainly find them in the Poker.com archive along with information on the particular players histories and career achievments to date, which I found an excellent read.
Such is broad the nature of the poker related topics which the site covers, that there is even a section on how a player went about building his own poker table for use at home. Also covered are in depth reviews for all the major online sites, an online store with books, DVDs and poker accssesories.
Detailed information on the major poker tournaments happening around the world can be found amongst many other easy to find topics on all things www.partypoker.com. With each section being well written and easy to find I feel this a site well worth visiting for both the experienced players and also the beginner, who will find illustrated hand ranking lists, table etiquette guides, tournament rules and the list goes on.
