Partypocker – Capitalising on Weak Play

www.partypocker.com – Finding weak players at the tables is not the most difficult of tasks, as there will always be inexperienced players around online, and even in live games too. The difficulty though, can be winning against these players when luck seems to be conspiring against you. Personally, I think there are two types of players when it comes to new players.
Those who know they are not skilled and that their opponents are, and consequently always think they are beaten, and those who never fold. If you find yourself up against a player that always feels they aren’t winning and allows themselves to be raised out of pots, this is the easier player to play against. Put out tester bets when ever you feel they are weak, and bluff them off pots when you feel they don’t have much of a hand. More commonly, you will find a player that always calls to see what you have, or chases draws, even if the odds are not right to do so.
These players can be very troublesome when they have a bit of luck, and being patient against them can pay dividends. If you hit a solid hand which you know is in front, you should raise, and try and extract the maximum profit from your hand, knowing your opponent is likely to hang on to any pair they might have. Despite my feeling that some players can be pushed off pots if they are inexperienced, most of them require for you to wait your moment carefully, and when you make that big hand, try and make the most out of it.
